FRIENDraiser Breakfast

Annually every Spring, Northwood Hall 7:30am – 9:00am
This free breakfast features guest speakers Roger Briggs, conductor of the Symphony and Pete Kremen, Whatcom County Executive. Come and break bread with other music advocates in our community and support the Symphony and the educational outreach program. Registration starts at 7:00 am. Family Fun Run/Walk

May 3rd, Barkley Haggen Store
This event is a partnership between the Symphony and youth music organizations in our community to raise money for music education. The race starts with the downbeat of the Beethoven 5th Symphony. Runners can choose the 5K or the 10K course. The fastest runners who finish before the end of the Symphony earn a free ticket to a future Symphony concert. Additional prizes for the top male and female runners in each race. There is a 2 mile family walk as well. Registration is $15, $25 with the t- shirt until April 23rd. An Evening for the Symphony - September 20, 2008
Best Western Lakeway Inn – 5:30 pm cocktails, 6:30 pm dinner, followed by a live auction with the best auctioneer in the Northwest and the hottest dance band in the Northwest, the Craig Lawrence Band. Enjoy fine food and wine with your friends and dance the evening away. Tickets are selling fast! Only $125 per person and we expect to sell out. December 13th, Barnes and Noble Book Store in Bellingham
Get your Holiday shopping done AND support the Symphony at the same time. Download the PDF form available in November and bring with you to Barnes and Noble for Whatcom Symphony Orchestra day. A percentage of the sales that day benefit the Symphony. Get your purchases wrapped by Symphony board members and volunteers and hear wonderful classical music all day Saturday, December 13, 2008. Tis the season to be jolly, well read and support music in our community.
